Starground Provides Sound for AFL-CIO Labor Day Rally
Wlmington DE, Labor Day, September 6th 2004

Since the IATSE union is part of the AFL-CIO, it was the IATSE Local which hired the band and the sound for this year's Labor Day Rally.

Delaware band Backlash has most of its bandmembers belonging to unions, so they were chosen.

David Muddiman is the soundman of choice for Backlash and he also is a worker for IATSE, so he was contracted to provide sound for the band and for the various labor and political speakers.

The soundsystem consisted of two new Meyer UPA-1P, two Meyer 650-R2 sub-woofers, and two EAW FR-153 for outer sidefill. Monitors were three Meyer UM-1P, One Meyer UM-100P, and one JBL SR4735a for drums.

It was a wonderful outdoor event in Tubman Garrett Park.
Everyone was very happy with the clarity and good tone of the sound system.
